Ledsen vänner att allt kommer in sent och att jag tvingas kopiera in målvakterna,  men idag var en sån dag där man knappt kunde hitta en lucka för att sitta och koppla av….

Ryan Miller
Despite not playing well and losing vs Pittsburgh, Ryan Miller is 7-3-1 in his last 11 starts. He was going real well in that overtime loss in Boston last week until Mike Weber gave the puck away in front to Nathan Horton who promptly tied the game.
Miller has clearly gotten back on track after recovering from an injury. People need to remember the massive workload he had last year, which was most of the reason he faltered in the playoffs.

Lundqvist starting for Rangers. Torts says Staal’s an All-Star.

Semyon Varlamov was the first goaltender off the ice for the Capitals this morning and will get the start tonight at Verizon Center against the Anaheim Ducks. Coach Bruce Boudreau wants to give Varlamov a chance to regain some of his confidence and get back on the horse, so to speak, after Sunday’s 7-0 loss to the Rangers.
Varlamov was lit up for his last start but was actually quite consistent before that.

Carey Price will be in goal for the Canadiens. We do not yet know who will be facing. It’s Brian Boucher, who beat the Penguins yesterday. However, the Flyers come to rehabilitate the name Michael Leighton in training, it would be an injury that has derailed his season debut.
